It was the following week when she had to face Lee in a rematch, but did not win the title. Ariana was then matched against Lee in an opportunity to win the Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational Championship, won by Lee. Summer Rae, Natalya Eva Marie Rosa Mendes accompanied the contest to play a six-on-1 handicap against Nikki Bella. They only showed up to attack Nikki Bella. On the Battleground pre-show, she was paired with Naomi. Ariana was victorious. Their rivalry was born in the aftermath. In the summer of 2010 the two wrestlers competed against one against each other in several singles and handicap events and tag team matches.
